I’ve been teaching Cardinal’s Java 201 course this week. I’ve had little time for blog reading, let alone posting.

The triple threat? I can code, teach, and plan. Woo. Exciting.

The PowerBook works well for presentations. I’m using my Logitech MX 900 Bluetooth mouse as a remote. The only downside is that since I’m not using a Win32 box, I can’t exactly mirror the configuration difficulties my class is facing. The VMWare image for Java 201 seems to have disappeared and what we have in place now isn’t exactly the same, which caused me to lose a couple hours of teaching and lab time to making the students fix the configuration. I think this will be my first class where I don’t complete the material early, but it’s not such a bad thing because these students are working through each exercise and trying to learn what the labs teach.
